SIMPSONS Annie Award Nomination
Speaking of The Simpsons, I was thrilled to learn the Treehouse of Horror XXIV with the intro I storyboarded with Guillermo has been nominated for a 2013 Annie Award (International Animated Film Society) in the "Storyboarding in an Animated TV / Broadcast Production" category! More info and a complete list of the nominees can be found here!
UPDATE: Doh! We didn't win, but it was an immense honor to be nominated! Congrats to Pixar / Toy Story of Terror on their win!
Guillermo del Toro's vampire horror novel THE STRAIN comes to FX as a new TV series! I got to work on concept for this last year (and the beginning of 2013) with an amazing group of artists! Lots of creepy stuff that you'll definitely want to watch with the lights out! View the first teaser here!
Halloween comes early! The Simpson's Treehouse of Horror XXIV features an amazing and monster-filled Guillermo del Toro opening! In addition to storyboarding the opening, I got to work on some gags with Guillermo, along with concept for the "Simpson-fied" monsters. The intro has been released online but be sure to catch the full episode complete with Guillermo’s opening Oct. 6 on FOX!
The new PACIFIC RIM film book is filled with behind the scenes artwork, designs, and photos showing some of the incredible work that went into making the film~ and I’m pleased to have some of the designs and concept art I did included! With cast and crew descriptions throughout, PACIFIC RIM: Man, Machines and Monsters details the making of Guillermo del Toro’s kaiju epic!

PACIFIC RIM Official Release
The wait is over! PACIFIC RIM opened this weekend, & praise for Guillermo del Toro's giant monster epic is rolling in! I was thrilled to be part of the production, working for 11 months as part of Guillermo's core concept team, & helping out on storyboards! It's incredible to see his unique world come to life on the screen (including some of the kaiju I did concept for) through the amazing talent of ILM!
